East Fork Team Featured Speakers at The Cannabis Conference 2020
East Fork was proud to have two of our team members, CEO Mason Walker and Director of Education Anna Symonds, speak at the 2020 Cannabis Conference.
Taking place over three weeks in September, the conference offered knowledge sharing and best practices primarily for canna-businesses. Each day of speakers featured a distinct theme for its talks, including Launch, Expansions, Business; Cultivation and Hemp; and Dispensary and Deal Making Summit.
Mason shared East Fork’s Lean business philosophy and practices on his panel, Lean Management and Six Sigma in Cultivation and Farming. You can read an excellent Q&A with him on the topic here.
Anna’s panel, a Spotlight Session on Cannabinoid and Terpene Science, focused on on the importance of creating platforms for industry-driven education.
Anna and co-panelists Emma Chasen, Wayne Schwind, and moderator Andrea Sparr-Jaswa dove into training budtenders and patient care specialists, as well as educating medical practitioners and patients/consumers.
