Hemp Bar’s mission is to improve people’s lives by developing a science-based and intentional relationship with cannabis.
What Hemp Bar offers
Hemp, which is legally defined as simply low-THC cannabis, can contain high amounts of CBD, CBG, CBN, terpenes, flavonoids, and beyond. And while cannabidiol (CBD) remains a core focus of ours, it is but one of nearly 200 known cannabinoids that can be bred for in the plant.
With Hemp Bar, we’ll offer our guests the full diversity the cannabis plant provides through an equally diverse lineup of products ranging from infused beverages, USDA Certified Organic craft flower, tinctures, seed packets, edibles, topicals, infused foods, and more.
Patrons can relax and enjoy unique and delicious CBD mocktails made with East Fork's water-suspendible CBD Drops, and a curated selection of vegan and “beegan” sweet and savory grab-and-go foods.
Aside from select beegan products, everything at Hemp Bar is 100% plant-based/vegan.
We anticipate adding outdoor seating in Spring 2021.
The Hemp Bar approach
At Hemp Bar, we’ll use a science-based approach to help find the visitor the product that best suits their needs or desired outcome.
Through one-on-one customer conversations, and at future in-person Cannabis Classes, we’ll discuss the therapeutic nature of cannabis, what we know about particular compounds like CBD, best practices for consumption, how to grow your own plants, and other topics, while highlighting our farm’s sustainable and regenerative farming methods.
All goods, unless stated otherwise, are made from our USDA Organic craft hemp that’s grown, and often bred, on our family farm in Southern Oregon.
The ethos and atmosphere of Hemp Bar
Located in Southeast Portland at 6258 SE Foster Rd., this vibrant, welcoming neighborhood space is designed to promote East Fork’s core values of environmental responsibility, science-based education, and social justice in cannabis.
Fundamental to Hemp Bar's mission is to create a science-based understanding of cannabis which, as we've collectively witnessed, accelerates the end of the failed, racist, and horrendous war on drugs. While also helping the millions of people who turn to the plant for relief.
Think of a Parisian café in the 40s and 50s, mixing a midcentury modern feel with vintage glam: this is Hemp Bar’s atmosphere. Tending towards minimalism with a touch of whimsy, Hemp Bar features interior design by Kari A. Voegele and woodwork meticulously done by Dave Fischer.
We’re highly jazzed to unveil this store and community space where we can share cannabis science, our story and values, pair visitors with the right product(s), and educate consumers about the sourcing of their hemp and CBD products.
We look forward to offering ready access to superior low-THC cannabis (hemp) products, and providing information to folks on how to best use this remarkable plant and its numerous compounds, like CBD, to enhance their lives.
