CBD Certified Expands into Cannabis Class

Our classic CBD Certified free educational program has expanded into a bigger umbrella: Cannabis Class

With this change will come additional classes and a wider scope of cannabis science content. The program will remain free, as always — as part of our mission to empower people’s health choices.

Over the past three years, our comprehensive CBD-focused cannabis science workshop has grown from an in-person workshop in dispensaries throughout Oregon, delivered to thousands of individuals, to a webinar available to anyone on the internet. We’ve presented to the Oregon Department of Agriculture, numerous other companies, national grocery stores, at conventions, and even aired on public access TV.

During this time, CBD has gone from a little-known compound to a major product, ingredient, and industry. Along with the growth of this market, there’s more need than ever for education — to help people understand what CBD is and how to most effectively use it to enhance their wellbeing.

But as fans of whole plant molecular synergy know, the healing magic of cannabis isn’t in any one compound. It’s found in  the interplay and complexity of the plant’s many different components, and its rainbow of variations.

As CBD Certified developed, we quickly saw that our educational subject matter naturally requires context of the whole plant and its many interactions with the holistic ecosystem of the human body. We understood that to teach about CBD, we also had to provide a knowledge foundation that acknowledged the connections between.

The array of topics within cannabis-related science is nearly endless, and we wanted to delve in deeper and wider. We’ve been talking about more than just CBD for a while now, but  this makes it official.

CBD Certified is expanding  into Cannabis Class, both in name and in scope. The classic CBD Certified webinar will still be offered, and it will be joined by focused cannabis science educational content covering a wide spectrum of information within the categories “Plant”, “People”, “Culture,” “Products,” and “Knowledge”.

We’re thrilled about this move and can’t wait to share more with you all! Keep an eye peeled as we roll out new offerings for you over the coming months. Thanks for being a part of this movement with us.
