East Fork is seeking a talented, passionate and driven Technical Account Manager to join our sales team. This position is located in Portland and candidates must have the ability to work on-site from the office, along with client visits and some remote work.
Position Summary
The Technical Account Manager’s primary role is to generate and support sales in East Fork’s wholesale hemp channels, with a focus on business development with hemp growers and product makers. The Technical Account Manager will work closely with the Sales Manager to service East Fork’s growing customer base.
The Technical Account Manager will service existing customers as well as generate new business for two of East Fork’s fastest-growing product categories: feminized hemp seed and hemp ingredients. In addition to relationship building, the Technical Account Manager will generate new leads and assist the Sales Manager with sales strategy.

Develop and grow relationships with partners in East Fork’s hemp grower and product maker channels
Consistently hit sales goals
Generate leads and nurture new accounts
Maintain compliance, record keeping, and data systems, including East Fork’s customer relationship management (CRM) system
Work closely with the finance team to manage accounts receivable
Work closely with the operations team to coordinate fulfillment and delivery of all products
Work closely with the breeding team to inform future seed line development
Assist with sales and marketing strategies

Qualifications and Skills:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be legally able to work in the U.S.
3+ years of sales experience or relevant professional experience — cannabis sales experience preferred but not required
Must have own computing / communication devices available for business use
Must have own reliable transportation - mileage reimbursed
Proficient computer skills including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Forms, Calendar); CRM (Zoho), project management (Trello), team communication (Slack)
Compensation and Benefits
Annual salary: $43,000-$46,500, depending on experience
Incentives: Quarterly bonus program based on performance
Health insurance: Partially subsidized plan (Regence BCBS for 2022)
Paid time off: 4 weeks per year (to be coordinated with team and organization needs)

Work schedule, relationships, and culture
Schedule: The Technical Account Manager should average at least 40 hours per week and sets their schedule in collaboration with the Sales Manager. The Portland team works during the day, M-F.
Relationships: The Technical Account Manager will work closely with the Portland team and have the opportunity to visit East Fork’s farm in Southern Oregon.
Travel: This position requires some travel. We compensate for miles driven using a personal vehicle at the standard IRS business rate (currently $0.575/mile for 2021).
