Fulfillment Specialist

East Fork Cultivars is a farm-focused cannabis and hemp company, with headquarters in the picturesque Illinois River Valley in Takilma, Oregon, and a satellite office in Portland, Oregon. Founded in 2015, East Fork strives to develop and preserve sustainable, sun-grown farming methods in order to produce high-quality, genetically diverse, CBD-rich cultivars while maintaining a resolute commitment to environmental responsibility, science-based education, and social justice. East Fork is seeking a talented, passionate and self-directed Fulfillment Specialist to join our team. This position is an in person role and located in Portland, Oregon.

Position Summary

The Fulfillment Specialist provides an important bridge between East Fork’s diverse teams.  The position supports inventory management, CRM administration, and order fulfillment based in our Portland office and Portland warehouses. The Fulfillment Specialist also serves as the key hub for information sharing between teams. This position will work closely with the Chief Operations Officer and requires travel for deliveries to regional accounts.

Outcomes (in order of priority):

  1. Support East Fork’s general business operations

  2. Ensure accurate inventory information across multiple locations using CRM and Metrc

  3. Provide fulfillment support through the preparation of orders and delivery

  4. Ensure compliance with state cannabis regulations

  5. Provide accurate inventory and sales reports

  6. Proactively recommend improvement to workflows to increase efficiency

  7. Maintain project management tools including Trello boards to organize work

  8. Monitor and address cleanliness, supplies, and organization of the Portland facilities

  9. Support other Operations Team members as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ years relevant professional experience

  • Strong communication skills and a healthy sense of humor

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to perform physical labor

  • Metrc experience

  • Other software we currently use regularly:  Zoho CRM, Google Workspace, Trello, Leaflink

  • Current driver’s license and OLCC handler’s permit

Compensation and Benefits

  • Starting wage: $20-21.50/hour based on experience

  • Paid vacation: Accrue 0.04 hours of PTO for each hour worked. This is about two weeks of PTO per year based on a full-time schedule.

Work schedule, relationships, and culture

  • Schedule: The Fulfillment Specialist should average between 32 and 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

  • Location: This is an in-person role based in East Fork Cultivars’ Portland headquarters and OLCC warehouse.

  • Relationships: The Fulfillment Specialist will work closely with the Operations Team, and works most directly with the Chief Operations Officer.

  • Travel: This position requires a limited amount of travel. Use of a company vehicle is available for errands and deliveries. Trips to the farm in Southern Oregon may be required quarterly for meetings, seasonal support, and material transfers.
