In 2006, Matt Thomas started Brew Dr. Tea Company (formerly named Townshend’s Tea) which offers organic loose-leaf tea of the highest quality in a casual teahouse setting. In 2008, he began brewing organic kombucha in the teahouse kitchens, giving it the name Brew Dr. Kombucha. From leaf to bottle, the company creates each flavor from their custom tea blends, making deliciously refreshing authentic kombucha with a difference you can taste.

Tranquil kombucha features 25mg of CBD from Oregon-grown craft hemp in each 14 oz bottle. Three tasty options are available: Tranquil Herbs, Tranquil Berries, and Tranquil Ginger.
The flavor of the CBD is botanical and subtle, complimenting the kombucha well. If you already love Brew Dr.’s herbal Clear Mind flavor, berry-packed Superberry flavor, and zesty Ginger Lemon flavor, you’ll be pleased to find a very similar taste in the new CBD options. Same great flavors, just more… chill.

Tranquil will hit the shelves of select Oregon and Washington stores at the end of June 2020 and will expand to more West Coast locations in the following months. Due to the growing popularity of CBD, the brand hopes to be able to expand this line nationally in 2021.
